PGA TOUR Superstore Peabody

I had a fitting with Mike Francis. He was awesome. Great guy and knows his stuff very well. I wasn’t hitting my best that day and he said that’s relatively normal with hitting that many shots with this many different clubs. I got the ping g440 irons and have gotten an extra 20-30 yards vs my ping g25 from 2014. Highly recommend

Went into the PGA store in Peabody Ma today to purchase a Ping Scottsdale putter. There was a posted sign that read Ping Scottsdale putters $259.99. I choose the Scottsdale tech ally blue. When I tried to purchase it the sales rep said that one wasn't on sale. I pointed out the sign that read Scottsdale putters $259.99 he called the manager who tried to explain that the Scottsdale tech wasn't included it was only for the Scottsdale Craze, Anser and Ds72 putters. The advertised sign didn't specify individual Scottsdale models. They wouldn't honor the posted discount. That is blatant false advertising he immediately removed the sign and said that there wasn't anything he could do. He offered me a dozen free golf balls instead. I refused to except them and left. If there was no deception why did he remove the sign and offer free balls. I was also considering purchasing a $500 Bag as well. I would not purchase anything from PGA Superstore again. There are plenty of other options I suggest everyone should boycott them for their sales tactics.

If you’re looking to get fitted I couldn’t recommend Mike Francis higher. Had my first fitting ever over at PGA superstore in Peabody and Mike felt like my friend right away. He won’t talk you into the most expensive clubs and if you give him a budget he will stay in it. 10 out of 10

Mike Francis is the best fitter/golf professional I have ever dealt with. He has no ego. He only wants to put you in the best shaft/club combination that he can. He doesn’t believe in full bag fittings. He will start with irons/shafts/grips. Later fitting is for driver/fair,ways/hybrids, if hybrids weren’t fit as part of irons session. The hit pattern on the iron faces was the best I ever had. Driver fitting was exhausting, and we discussed a fairway and I ordered both. The fairway was too strong for me so I worked with Craig who replaced it and we ordered hybrids. New clubs are perfect, except driver wasn’t working out. I emailed Mike Francis who insisted I come in for a “driver evaluation” @N/C. Ten minutes into great teaching /tweaking session I was exceeding carry and distance that computer predicted for my swing factors. Great store, great people. Special kudos to Mike, Craig, and the young woman who does a ton of re-gripping. You get what you pay for.

Nice selection of used clubs, went in looking for a fairway wood and found a callaway in good condition for a great deal. Also found my son a nice junior putter to get him started. Store is very nicely organized and could have wandered around looking at clubs for a while had I been by myself. Didn't have any interactions with staff outside of my purchase but checkout was efficient and I have no complaints. Great place to find clubs and get fitted if you really want that personal touch.
